Personal Logo Project
With this project, I wanted to develop a physical model that captures the most influential pieces of my life. Ever since I was young, my nickname has been my initials: GG. In order to capture growing up as a competitive gymnast, I slanted the letters as if they were mid-flip, and balanced the outer G on it’s side as if it was balancing atop a balance beam. The leg of the outer G evolves into a music note to demonstrate the art form’s influence on my life both as a jazz musician as well as in my sport. Finally, the triangular pattern captures my family’s influence since I have two older siblings, and we three have a strong bond.
